Here at Australian Vanilla Plantations, we have developed a unique and eccentric verticle farming system to capture this ever growing market. It is the first micro dome greenhouse in Australia, whilst its' super structure design allows it to withstand 160 km winds.

The Vanilla Dome is 11 m in diameter 'fit for purpose' novel sustainable greenhouse that is highly efficient and effect for growing vanilla vines. Its' unique motorised rotating Trellis system allows even light distribution for the vines. The column structures allow high concentration of biomass per cubic meter.
It's computerised automation system enables climate control to create optimised growing conditions for controlled flowering and growth. The performance specifications of the vanilla Dome includes; sustainable operating systems with low utility costs, servicing and maintenance whilst bolstering effective and efficient growing management systems for vines. This allows the promotion for optimal growth and nutrient delivery.
Eco-Sustainability Cover (ESC)
The ESC is a unique specialised polyethylene type material in which allows:
- 83% UV diffusion
- 83% Sunlight (ingress)
- 1.7 R Factor - thermal transference
- Temperature band (-10° to 48°)

Trellis system and Framework
The Trellis system and Frameworks are specially designed which allows:
- Rotation (even light distribution)
- 8 trellis each with 5 columns
- Each column holds 5 vines
- 400 vines (target length 20m)
- Target 8000m of vines
